Schodack Landing-Walter James Drost, 92, passed away at his son’s residence on Wednesday February 17, 2016. Born in Schodack, he was the last surviving child of eight of the late Lavina (Salisbury) and John Drost. He was also predeceased by his wife Jane (Keegan) Drost. Walter and Jane had lived their entire married life in Schodack Landing. For the last three years, Walter had lived with his son Alan W. Drost in Schodack Landing. Walter has three grandchildren Kimberly, Kristina and Danyl.

At his wish, there will be no services.
