Suzanne (Rose) Ford, 63, of East Greenbush, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, at Albany Medical Center Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in the Capital Region, Suzanne was a proud graduate of Maple Hill High School in Castleton. She went on to build a dedicated career in accounts receivable with Miller Paint, where she was known for her reliability, kindness, and strong work ethic. After 20 years of service, she retired, leaving behind many colleagues who valued her friendship and professionalism. Suzanne found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was an avid camper who cherished time outdoors, enjoyed playing bingo and visiting casinos, and took great pride in her crafting projects. A devoted sports fan, she never missed the chance to cheer on her beloved New York Jets. Above all, Suzanne treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Earl Rose and Sheila (Coffey) Rose, and by her brother, Earl “Jay” Rose. Suzanne is survived by her loving husband, Robert Ford Jr. who she married on October 24, 1981 at the Solid Rock Church in Glenmont; her children, Robert Ford III (Allie Butler) of East Greenbush and Eric Ford of Albany; her siblings, Cathy (Larry) Mull of Castleton, Robert Rose of West Sand Lake, Kevin Rose of Florida, Brian Rose of California,Tim Rose of Connecticut, and Paula (Anthony) Jordan of Castleton; and her cherished grandchildren, Joseph Ford, Robert Ford IV, Justin Ford, Eric Ford Jr., McKenna Ford, and Preston Slaughter. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly. Suzanne will be remembered for her warm heart, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering devotion to her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Suzanne's family on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at the Castleton Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave. Castleton, from 3-6pm. A memorial service will commence at 6:00pm. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Suzanne’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
