Ballston Spa- Richard F. Gregorewsky, of Ballston Spa, passed away on November 10, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital with his wife at his side.
Born in Albany on December 17, 1953, he was the son of the late Alexander S. and Gertrude R. (Resselberger) Gregorewsky. Richard grew up in Castleton and was a proud graduate of Maple Hill High School.
Following his graduation from Maple Hill, Richard honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard from 1973 to 1977, during which time he was stationed in Kodiak Island, Alaska. After his service, he worked for many years at the Lydall Manning Paper Company in Green Island, where he built lasting friendships before his retirement.
Richard was a proud supporter of the NRA and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending quiet time reading. His deep appreciation for nature and his stead, good-natured spirit were evident to all who knew him.
In 2001, Richard married the love of his life, Patricia (Pearson) Gregorewsky, who survives him. He is also survived by his brother, Alexander K. Gregorewsky and his wife, Joannie; as well as his beloved fur babies, Lexi and Ebony, who brought him great joy.
Richard will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, and quiet strength. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Richard's committal service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. Schuylerville, NY 12871.
