Bolt, Patricia Grace

Castleton, NY-Patricia Grace Bolt, 76, lost her courageous battle with cancer on September 19, 2016
with her loving family at her side. Patricia was the first born child of the Late Lillian and Charles Averill of Menands; and was the devoted wife and best friend for 55 years to her husband Robert E. Bolt. Patricia was blessed with two children, Robert (Kim) Bolt and Laurie (Scott) Premo, seven grandchildren Emily (Steve Caruso) McKnight, Scott McKnight, Nicole (Chris) Graef, Amanda (Thomas) Arcidiacono, Parker Bolt, Evan Premo, Julie Premo and two great-grandchildren Julia Graef, and Andre Arcidiacono. Patricia grew up in Menands, two houses down from her future lifelong best friend and husband.

Patricia decided early on to be a stay at home mom, and was at her happiest taking care of her family. She was an amazing, caring and loving Mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Patricia also spent much of her time caring for others in need, from family members suffering through their last days, to close friends and neighbors who needed a helping hand. Her passing not only leaves a huge void for her family to recover from, but for her closest friends and neighbors as well. She will be missed dearly.

Survivors in addition to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, are her siblings: Charles (Alice) Averill of Murietta, Ca; Dave (Marion) Averill of Menands; Judith Donnelly of New Bern, NC; Ann (Richard) Geddis of Schaghticoke; Linda (Robert) Colmerauer of Sebastian, Fl; Daniel Averill of Niceville, Fl; and Kathleen Averill of Menands, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Donald Averill.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at St. Peter's Hospital and Hospice Inn for their care and support during her illness.

Friends are invited and may call at Ray Funeral Service, 59 Seaman Ave, Castleton-on-Hudson, on Thursday September 22, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Friday September 23 , 2016 at 10 am at the Emanuel Reformed Church, 1150 Maple Hill Rd, Castleton-on-Hudson, NY 12033.
