Schodack-Nelson H. Adams, 77, of Schodack passed away Saturday December 7, 2013 at his home.

Nelson served his country in the Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1962. Nelson was active in his community as a jeweler, teacher, musician, and collector of antique toy cars and records. Nelson was known to all he met as a charismatic storyteller and American history maven.

Nelson dedicated his life to his beloved wife Patricia Adams and daughter Diana Adams, his pride and joy, managing partner of a New York City law firm. Nelson was also survived by his brother David (Rochelle) Adams and many nieces and nephews, including his nephew Nathan Fisher. He was predeceased by his brother Peter Adams and his sister Nancy Fisher.

Friends and family are welcome at a memorial service on Wednesday, December 11, at Ray Funeral Service, 59 Seaman Ave, Castleton, NY 12033. Viewing from 4-7pm, Funeral at 7pm, Potluck dinner following at family home at 8pm.
