Schodack-Liselotte (Lee, Lilo) S. Cannone (Koeberlin) age 89 of South Schodack passed away after a short illness with her loving family by her side. She was born in Karlsruhe Germany in 1928 and migrated to the United States in 1959. She was predeceased by her parents Franz and Elise Koeberlin and siblings; Gertrude, Hilde, Franz, Wilhelm and Helmut.

Lilo was a very passionate person who cared very deeply for her family and friends. She was a very good cook who enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed being outside, connecting with nature, growing flowers and vegetables and feeding the birds. She also enjoyed getting together with friends, going to a movie, shopping or getting together at the boat club. She was a seamstress for many years and enjoyed sewing for many customers in the community.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Tony Cannone; her daughter Silvia (Jerry) Redding; her step children Paul Cannone, Pamela (Jim) Held, Frank Cannone, Tony (Sharon Smith) Cannone, Mike Cannone and family friend Kathi Cannone. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jerry (Karen) Redding, Lori (Frank) Lavalier, Anthony (Shawna) Cannone, Jessica (Mark) Willey, Robert Held, Christopher Cannone, Steven Cannone, William Held; great grandchildren Jared Redding, Justin Redding, Jadon Redding, Jeffery Carl, Hunter Carl, Brittany Cannone, Grace Cannone and Alex Willey; and great-great grandson Kayson Carl. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Germany as well as many cherished friends she has made here.

We would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, Technicians and Staff at McAuley Pavilion, St. Peters Hospital, along with the Staff at the Community Hospice of Columbia-Greene County for their compassionate care and support.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, 4 to 7 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home, Castleton, NY with a funeral mass on Friday, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Castleton, NY. Burial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Albany, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Lilo can be made to Hospice or the South Schodack Volunteer Fire Company.
