Jeffrey P. Duncan, Sr.

Schodack- Jeffrey P. Duncan, Sr., age 60, a lifelong resident of Schodack, passed away peacefully in Miami, Florida on Friday, May 16, 2025, following a brief illness.

Born in Albany on March 30, 1965, Jeff was the son of Jessie Langenbach and the late Harry Duncan, Sr. He was a proud graduate of Maple Hill High School and spent much of his career working as a dedicated salesman for Herzog's Home and Paint Centers.

A Life Member of the South Schodack Fire Company, Jeff was deeply committed to serving his community. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who found joy and peace in hunting and fishing. He also loved to travel and go camping.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lisa (Ravida) Duncan and his father, Harry Duncan, Sr.

He was the proud father of Michelle (Joe Jr.) Sturgis, Jeffrey (Becky) Duncan, Jr., Nicholas (Jackie) Duncan, and his son who predeceased him, Zachary Duncan. He is also survived by his fiancé, Susan Ward; grandchildren, Lisa, Austin, and a granddaughter who is expected to arrive to Nicholas and Jackie, at any moment; siblings, Harry (Robin) Duncan, Jr. and Wendy (Andy) Nolan; nieces, Amanda Nolan and Heather (Michael) Strenck; his dog, Ashton; and his cat, Ella.

The Duncan family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Baptist Health Center, in Miami, FL, for their compassionate and attentive care to Jeff and their family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jeff's family from 4:00-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Castleton Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave. Castleton-on-Hudson, NY 12033. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Horizon View Cemetery, 1375 Brookview Station Rd. Castleton-on-Hudson, NY 12033.
