Howard Scheidel, 86, of Castleton died peacefully on February 25, 2015. Howard
was a carpenter and had his own window and door installation business. He was a
6th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do where he earned the respectful title of
Sensei.

He had his own school where he taught many in the community, especially the
youth, discipline and respect. His favorite pastime was fishing, drinking coffee
and spending time with family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Elinor, of 65 years; brother Mickey Scheidel
and sister Jean Cerrone. Survived by his brother Al (Veronica) Aurelio,
sister-in-law Betty Cerrone, his three closest nieces: Sharon (Gerald) McNamara,
Judith Cerrone and Sandra (Thomas) Bishop, as well as many other nieces and
nephews.

Services will be private and postponed until the spring.

Donations may be made in memorial to Castleton Volunteer Ambulance.
