Haverly, Lillian M.

Haverly, Lillian, May, 88, entered into eternal life on Monday, July 17. She was the daughter of the late Ernest & Sarah Haverly. Predeceased by her brother LeRoy (Marion) Haverly, and sisters Loretta Haverly and Jane (Robert) Buchanan. Survivors include nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Lillian worked in a pen company out of high school until it closed. Then decided her career was to be a caregiver to children. She loved spending time with and helping watch children for her Family and neighborhood friends. She was an avid reader, books and magazines were everywhere. Lillian also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, making many blankets and scarves. Up until recently, Lillian preferred to walk where ever she needed to go.

The Family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing for the excellent care they provided her. Lillian enjoyed her stay there and loved being included in all of the activities and field trips.

A graveside service will be held on July 25 at 2:00pm at Guilderland Cemetery, 6620 Stitt Road, Altamont.
