Schodack Landing-Gloria Mull Philp, 93, formerly of Schodack Landing died Monday March 21, 2016 at Hospice Inn, St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in South Schodack on September 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Emeline (Curtis) and Charles Mull. She was also pedeceased by her brothers Charles and Raymond and sisters Florence Ziegler and Gladys Schermerhorn. The wife of the late John Philp, she is survived by many nieces and nephews. Gloria was also a special friend of the late Loring Tacy.

Gloria attended the Red Schoolhouse in South Schodack and graduated from Castleton High School. She was employed for many years at Fort Orange Paper Company, Castleton and Sterling Winthrop, Rensselaer.

The family would like to express their gratitude to staff at Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Hospice Inn for their kind and considerate care.

A graveside service will be be held in Schodack Landing Cemetery Saturday April 2, 2016 at 1:30 pm with a reception afterwards at the Schodack Landing Fire Company.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may made to Schodack Landing Fire Company, 350 Firehouse Lane, Schodack Landing, NY 12156.
