Evelyn Shortsleeve

Guilderland- Evelyn Leila Shortsleeve died on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born in St. Albans, Queens, NY, the only child of the late Eve J. (Unson) Wetzel and Richard E.F. Wetzel, Jr. Evelyn was married for 61 years to Raymond Abram Shortsleeve who died in 2015. She was also predeceased by their son, Larry, who died in 1975. She is survived by her children, Joseph Shortsleeve, Marie Unson, Sarah Shortsleeve, and Catherine Sager; her four grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Leila Mosher, Michael and William Sager; her five great-grandchildren, James Bouton, Jr., Johanna Velasquez, Xavior and Xandor Mosher, and Christopher Sager.

A graveside service was held privately at Mountain View Cemetery, Castleton, NY.
