Reickert, Earl J. “Buddy”

Castleton-Earl J. “Buddy” Reickert, 87, of Castleton, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home Sunday morning November 15, 2015. Buddy was a lifelong resident of Castleton and a U.S. Navy veteran. A printer by trade, he was employed for 30 years at the Fort Orange Paper Company, Castleton and finished his career with the Burkmeyer and Alchar Printing Companies, both in Troy.

Buddy was the husband of over 50 years to the late Audrey Lansing Reickert. He is survived by two sons, Bruce Reickert and Jeffrey Reickert; grandsons John, Bryan and Chris Reickert; brother, Russell (Rita) Reickert; nieces, Lynn Reickert and Kim Amoroso; nephews, Don, Dave and Ken Kirsch.

By his own wishes, there will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will take place 11 am Tuesday November 17, 2015 at New Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Old Post Rd., Castleton.
