Castleton-David B. Newman, 69, of Castleton, NY died on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by his wife, daughter and son-in-law. Son of the late Robert B. Newman, survived by his mother Frances Clare McClure, his wife and best friend of 41 years Arlene, his loving daughter and son-in-law Jessica & Darin Stever, brother Thomas Newman (Donna), sister Nancy Habel (Tim), niece Jaimie Sander (Michael), great niece Anna Clare, many relatives, close friends and his little canine buddy Winston.

David was a teller of tales, a lover of his family, his home, music, reading, The Yankees, and NY Giants. He was an Army Veteran and a proud member of the Local 724/236 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers since 1970.

David’s Funeral will be at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Friday December 4, 2015 at 9:30 am. There will be no calling hours. Those wishing to remember David in a special way may make a memorial contribution to the American Lung Association at 155 Washington Ave, Albany, NY 12210.
