Colton Maddison Mills

Colton Maddison Mills of Castleton, NY passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 5, following a courageous lifelong battle with Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH).

Colton was born on March 22, 2021, to his loving parents, Corey and Sandra Mills. After diagnosis, his family dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to understanding his condition and providing for his complex needs with unwavering love and strength.

Colton found joy in some of life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed listening to music, watching football with his dad, and exploring sensory books. He loved the aquarium and was fascinated by the gentle movement of sea life beneath calming blue lights.

Though his time here was brief, Colton fought with a remarkable strength and resilience; a true superhero in the eyes of all who knew and loved him. Colton helped bring awareness to a disease that is commonly overlooked and underrepresented.

Colton is survived by his parents Corey and Sandra Mills; his sister Emma (17); his little brother Connor (2); and his grandmother, Gayle Trivellato. Colton's memory will remain forever cherished by his family and all whose lives he touched in and out of his NKH community.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
