Christopher Robert Lewis

Castleton- Christopher Robert Lewis, age 30, of Castleton, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, due to complications from lupus. Born in Albany, NY, on April 11, 1996, Christopher was the son of Robert (Jill) Lewis and Judith (Carl) Fredericks.

Christopher was a graduate of Maple Hill High School. He enjoyed delivering pizza around the Capital District while he was able to work. Christopher was happiest spending time at his grandparents' camp in Maine, where he would drive the motorboat, go fishing, ride his quad, and play a family game of cribbage.

Christopher treasured time with family and friends. He had an infectious smile that would light up a room. He loved to make others laugh.

Christopher was predeceased by his grandmother, Shirley Lewis, "Grandma Boo."

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Robert and Janice Hannaford; his brothers, Patrick Lewis and Joseph Fredericks; his aunts, Elaine O'Toole and Sue (Stuart) DeMarse; as well as many cousins.

Christopher's funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the Castleton Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave., Castleton, NY 12033. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Christopher's family prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christopher's memory to the Lupus Foundation of America or The National Kidney Foundation.
