Castleton-Brent Allen Kilmartin, 48, of Castleton, NY passed away suddenly while hunting on Sunday December 8, 2013. Brent worked in the engineering department at Columbia Memorial Hospital. He served proudly in the US Navy for 6 years. Brent was an avid hunter and loved being in the outdoors. Brent is survived by his grandmother, Louise Kilmartin of Albany; his parents, James Joseph Kilmartin and Pauline Vera Wrobel of Englewood, FL; two brothers, Broc K. Kilmartin of East Greenbush and Joseph P. Kilmartin (Barbara) of Fort Plain, NY; longtime girlfriend, Mary Celello of Castleton; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be 5-8 pm Thursday December 12, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave., Castleton, NY. A brief prayer will be offered at the funeral home Friday December 13, 2013 at 10 am followed by a committal service with military honors at New Sacred Heart Cemetery, Schodack, NY.
