Marcella (Marcy) Frances Wiley
Castleton-on-Hudson

Marcy F. Wiley, 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 5th. Marcy leaves behind her husband, Norman Wiley, her sons, Michael (Wendi) and Stephen (Rebecca), two granddaughters, Jessica and Megan, two brothers, Andrew (Fanny) and Anthony, a niece, AnnMarie Kosiewska, two nephews, Christopher and Matthew Kosiewska, and a brother and sister-in-law, Willy and Jerri Wiley. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Kosiewska, and her brother, Joseph Kosiewska.

Marcy was a graduate of St. Agnes High School, has an Associate degree in Mathematics at Queens College and B.S. in Marketing from Siena College (1997). She worked formerly at the Fort Orange Paper Company of Castleton, Southco in Menands, and Marktech in Latham. She retired from her current job at Regeneron in Rensselaer in July. She always spoke fondly of all of her coworkers and made many friends.

In addition to spending her time with her family and friends she loved traveling with her husband. On her honeymoon she traveled 16,000 miles cross country during the course of 15 weeks and included a visit to Alaska. She enjoyed many trips to the Outer Banks, NC and Ocean City, MD. Recently she toured globally and traveled to France, Switzerland, China, Italy, Rome, Greece and England. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and her brother Anthony. During her free time she took aerobics and yoga through the Schodack School District, worked on building a dollhouse replica of her home, worked on puzzles and had practiced calligraphy. Marcy supported her husband and sons’ aspirations to help in the community and the country, and had even contributed on the Friends of the Castleton Public Library and Castleton Parade Committee.

Friends and family are invited to the Ray Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Avenue, Castleton, NY, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday September 8, 2018. A graveside service will be held on Sunday September 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Horizon View Cemetery 1375 Brookview Station Road, Castleton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Castleton Cemetery Association, 227 Shufelt Rd, Nassau, NY 12123.
